Christina Marinucci has worked in Michelin starred bay area restaurants for the past 6 years. When the pandemic hit, she, like many other area cooks, found herself without employment. During the following months she sold pasta meal kits as fundraisers for charities to fight racism and found a renewed energy toward cooking and providing food for others. Marinucci's was then formed, and she now sells fresh pasta, sauces and spreads on Sundays at the Outer Sunset Farmers Market. In keeping with the spirit of how the company came about, 1% of sales are donated to a chosen Charity of the Month. This month's recipient is the American Civil Liberties Union. For more information on Marinucci's or their Charity of the Month, and to order lasagna go to www.marinuccispastashop.com. Wines selected by MBC can be purchased with your dinner.
